Zdzislaw Król - graphic artist, graphic editor. In 1940, a student at Professor Alfred Terlecki's Private School of Painting in Cracow, until 1942 at the Staatliche Handwerker und Kunstgewerbeschule (State School of Handicrafts and Arts). Participant in the resistance movement with the rank of sergeant cadet (nicknamed "Zielony"), commander of a diversionary patrol of the Cracow District of the Home Army. In 1944-1945 in Cracow, a free student of the Faculty of Painting under Prof. Władysław Jarocki, from 1945 to 1948 a student of the State Institute of Visual Arts of the Higher School of Fine Arts in Cracow (later the Academy of Fine Arts). Graduate of the Department of Applied Graphics (Printing) of this university. In Gdansk since 1948, lived initially in Oliwa, since 1951 in Wrzeszcz. From November 15, 1948 to March 31, 1981 graphic editor of Głos Wybrzeża and Wieczor Wybrzeża. He created vignettes and illustrations, especially for poetry and literary texts in both newspapers. He did graphic elaborations, book covers and illustrations, as well as graphic series related to the Land of Gdansk.
