Waclaw Koniuszko - Polish painter, studied at the School of Fine Arts in Warsaw with Feliks Szynalewski in 1866-1875. In 1877-79 he attended the composition department headed by Jan Matejko. Then he went to Munich, where he studied under A.Wagner. He then continued his studies under Leon Wyczółkowski, for whom he completed the famous painting "In the Studio." He often took up Jewish themes.
