Biography
Painter associated mainly with the Warsaw milieu. At the beginning of the 20th century she studied at the Académie Julian in Paris. She exhibited her works in Vilnius and mainly in Warsaw. Since 1925 she was a member of the local Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts. She created atmospheric images of women, usually using pastels and watercolor paints. The stylistics of her works referred directly to intimate portraits maintained in the spirit of Art Nouveau, with flowing lines and subtle colors. Also noticeable in her compositions is the influence of the sensual images of women painted by Franciszek Żmurka.
