Signature pd. Suberlak
Stefan Suberlak (1930-1994) - Polish painter and printmaker, known for his expressive compositions and characteristic intense colors. He graduated from the Katowice branch of the Krakow Academy of Fine Arts in 1952, dedicating himself to artistic printmaking. He was an honorary member of the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence.
Suberlak participated in more than 30 solo exhibitions at home and abroad, winning numerous prestigious awards, including the 6th International Graphics Exhibition "Bianco e Nero" in Lugano, the 4th International Graphics Biennale in Ljubljana and a silver medal at the 12th International Art Salon in Juvisy sur Orge. He was also a recipient of awards from the Minister of Culture and Art and the Provincial National Council.
His work included fine art printmaking, and his works were distinguished by their original style and high technical craftsmanship. He left a lasting mark in the history of modern Polish art, and his works are in numerous collections both in Poland and abroad.
