Original pencil drawing by Kazimierz Sichulski depicting Ludwik Solski (one of the most outstanding actors in the history of the Polish theater, later also a director and theater director) in the role of Ivan the Terrible, probably in the play "Death of Ivan the Terrible", premiered on 24.09.1910.

Sichulski Kazimierz ( 1879 - 1942 ) - painter, illustrator, graphic artist. Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, student of J. Mehoffer, S. Wyspianski and L. Wyczółkowski. An excellent caricaturist, lover of the Hutsul region, a frequent subject of his works were also actors in their prominent roles. From 1920 he taught at the State School of Decorative Arts and Artistic Industry in Lviv, then in 1930-39 he moved to Krakow, where he became a professor at the Krakow Academy of Fine Arts.
