Ryszard Prauss (1902-1955) - Set of 3 pencil drawings29 x 20 cm passe-partout, framed in identical silver frames 40 x 31 cm1.Lancer on horseback, 2.Study of a horse, 3.Sitting lancer with horseRyszard Prauss studied 1924-1930 in the studios of Mieczyslaw Kotarbinski and Tadeusz Pruszkowski at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. At the same time he studied printmaking with well-known professors: Władysław Skoczylas and Edmund Bartłomiejczyk. Ryszard Prauss is a traditional painter and draftsman, specializing mainly in pencil and crayon. His favorite subjects are mainly Polish reconstructed architecture.
