Stanislaw Raczynski born 1903 Wadowice - died 1982 in Cracow. Studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow under Ignacy Pieńkowski, Teodor Axentowicz and Wojciech Weiss, and printmaking under Jan Wojnarski. In 1927-1928 he worked at the Popular Theater as a stage designer and the next two years in Poznań. He went to Paris on a scholarship from the Ministry of Religious Denominations and Public Enlightenment. He worked in graphic design, advertising and illustration. He published two portfolios with depictions of Polish architecture. He was inspired by Wladyslaw Skoczylas.
Very good state of preservation: frame slightly damaged.
