The series of twelve illustrations for "Parzifal" was created between 1933 and 1934. The artist made a dozen prints from each block, and in 1936 sold the blocks to the Welsh outfit Gregynog Press. This company (after a name change, as Gwasg Gregynog), together with the National Library of Wales, in 1990 published "Parzival and the Holy Grail" with Mrożewski's woodcuts printed from blocks purchased before the war. The print run was 210 copies. The set of woodcuts presented here was printed at the same time.
