Composition from the lower part of engraving no. "7", from the series Recueil /de 19 planches études de figures/ Dessinées d'après nature/ A Amsterdam en 1802, /et / Gravées Spirituellement à l'eau forte/ par/ M.Plonski/ à Paris Chez Jean Editeur, rue St.Jean de Beauvais N°10. These works, entitled Types and Caricatures, were created during the artist's several-year stay in Amsterdam and Paris, where he learned engraving.
