Panorama of the city taken from the work of B. Zimorowicz "Historya miasta Lwowa, Królestw Galicyi i Lodomeryi stolicy" (Lviv 1835). The title in a rolled cartouche under the upper frame, on both sides of it four coats of arms: two of the city of Lviv, the Kingdom of Poland with the Vasa sheaf and the Land of Lviv. Under the panorama a list of 18 buildings highlighted in the engraving (in Polish). The composition is a copy of an engraving by Georg Braun and Franz Hogenberg from their work "Civitates Orbis Terrarum" (1617). The view from the tower of St. George's Church, with farmland in the foreground and the city within the walls in the background. In the background are the hills surrounding the city, including Castle Mountain with the High Castle. The engraving after expert conservation - ironed sheet folds, repaired margins, soiling on the reverse.
