Biography
Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, Faculty of Graphic Arts - graduated in 1971, and at the Royal College of Arts in Stockholm. Initially engaged in applied graphics and linocut. Since 1976 he has been creating mainly copperplate prints, of which more than 130 have been created to date. In the 1990s he also worked on cycles of watercolors and pastels. Winner of many national and international awards, he has had dozens of solo exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Works in museum collections including : National Museum; in Warsaw, Cracow, Szczecin, Gdansk, Poznan, Albertina Society in Vienna, Museum of Contemporary Art in New York, NDA Gallery in Sapporo, Pontifical Council for Culture in Vatican, Museum of Art and Culture in Freiburg.
