Painter, graphic artist. Studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Stefan Batory University in Vilnius (under Ludomir Sledziński), then at the Academie de la Grande Chaumiere in Paris (1938). Co-founder of the Vilnius Group. In Poland, in Cracow together with her son Andrzej since 1945. Co-founder of the Group of Nine Graphic Artists. She exhibited with this Group in 1947-1960, and continued the traditions of Warsaw and Vilnius woodcuts from before the war. Known for her fantastic exlibrises around the world.
