Banach III 336b. Frontispiece to S. Sierakowski's work "Architektura obeymuiąca wszelki gatunek murowania i budowania" (Kraków 1812). The engraving shows a fragment of the Wawel courtyard, with the tomb of Casimir the Great in the middle and, below, the tomb of John III Sobieski. Next to it lie coats of arms carved in stone: those of Lithuania, Poland and the Sforzas, as well as three medallions with images of the kings. The stone plaque on the left is engraved with the work's title and publishing data. The composition was made by Michal Stachowicz, the plate was engraved by J. G. Mansfold in Vienna (signed under the composition on the right). Abrasions and minor stains, bottom margin taped from underneath. Requires conservation.
