Lithograph, by V. Adam. (After 1837). Inscription "Kosciuszko" under the composition. Dimensions: 28 x 22.5 cm (board: 38.5 x 31.5 cm).
Dampstain and stains. Kosciuszko on a falling horse during the battle. The author of the scene is Victor Adam (1801-1866), a well-known French battle painter and one of the most prominent lithographers of his era. A popular shot, it has been repeated many times. 9277/25
