KONARSKA Janina (1900-1975) - Market in Kazimierz on the Vistula River.
Color woodcut form. 25.8x18.6 cm. The work was a graphic appendix to the periodical "Grafika Polska" (1926, issue 2). Print under the composition: "Janina Konarska" and "Woodcut", above the lower edge information about the printing house ("Rola" by J. Burian in Warsaw).
Slight loss of lower corner, minor staining of margin.
Janina Konarska-Słonimska née Seideman (1900-1975) - Polish painter of Jewish origin, graphic artist, illustrator, member of the Association of Polish Graphic Artists "Ryt". (Wikipedia).
