Work series: Solar System - Voyages
In the presented works, I turn to the night sky and the importance it had, and still has, for human civilization in search of its path and meaning. I take viewers on an extraordinary journey towards the corners and objects of the Solar System that I have selected, which are extremely important for us in the context of further space exploration, and remind us of their role as signposts for the space traveler. Each work is a testimony to the preparation for a symbolic and uncertain journey towards the unknown and also towards dreams. For me, the realized prints are a form of souvenir of the journey I would like to make, of the places I would like to see and which I would symbolically like to take with me.
In creating these works, I used preserved historical and literary sources, as well as the latest satellite photos.All works were made in zinc matrices using etched, intaglio techniques.
