Kacper Bożek - born in 1974 in Cracow, Poland. Graduate of Antoni Kenar State High School of Fine Arts in Zakopane and the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. He completed his diploma under the direction of Professor Stanisław Wejman. He works as an assistant professor in the Copperplate Studio of his alma mater. In 2013, he received his PhD for a series of prints dedicated to the Manuscript Found in Saragossa and the history of Jan Potocki. He has presented his works in about 30 solo exhibitions in Poland and abroad. He has also participated in dozens of group exhibitions, receiving multiple awards (list below). He usually uses intaglio techniques, especially etching and aquatint. One of his inspirations is literature. He has made two portfolios of prints based on Mikhail Bulgakov's "The Master and Margarita" and Jan Potocki's "Diary Found in Saragossa."
