Biography
Polish social activist, artist and journalist, best known for founding the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP) Foundation, the largest charity organization in Poland. Jerzy Owsiak is also the originator and artistic director of the Przystanek Woodstock festival, renamed Poland Rock Festival, which has been attracting crowds of young people and promoting the values of freedom, love and peace since 1995.
