Poland Mountain is the days of Legion blood and glory, and contains 12 original graphic works from Legion battlefields. The offered graphic is the 11th from this series. Fr. Jaźwiecki (1900 Krakow - 1946 Kudowa), after his military service in the Legions, began his artistic studies, first at the Free School of Drawing and Painting in Krakow (1924-1927), and then at the Krakow Academy of Fine Arts (1924 - 27) under F. Pautsch and T. Axentowicz. For a short time he was associated with the Cracow Group. He painted landscapes and architectural views. He was also involved in printmaking.
