Malarz, rysownik wybitny przedstawiciel polskiego malarstwa figuratywnego, pedagog. Obecnie prowadzi pracownię malarstwa w Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Warszawie. Studiował tam w latach 1975-1980 pod kierunkiem prof. Stefana Gierowskiego, wielkiego artysty współczesnej malarskiej awangardy.
