Janusz Stanny graphic designer, poster artist, illustrator, called a master of Polish illustration. He illustrated more than 200 books, including "Pan Tadeusz," the Bible, La Fontaine's "Fairy Tales," "Don Quixote" Cervantes and "Fairy Tales" by H.Ch. Andersen. He has been called "the artist of the Polish book" and the creator of "books to look at." He created a distinctive style, recognizable at first glance. He illustrated fairy tales and fables with equal freedom and virtuosity, as well as literature intended for adults. "In his works he combined a painterly outlook with a sense of humor and a sharp line" .
