Biography
In 1938 she began her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow under P. Dadlez and K. Sichulski. Then from 1940 to 1942 she studied at the Kunstgewerbeschule under F. Pautsch, and in 1945 she studied again at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow under E. Eibisch, W. Taranczewski and A. Jurkiewicz, among others. Since 1948, she taught easel and monumental painting. She was a co-founder of T. Kantor's Conspiracy Theater. She was a member of the Group of Young Artists, and is currently a member of the 2nd Cracow Group. She has received many awards, including the First Degree Award of the Ministry of Fine Arts (1984), the Witold Wojtkiewicz Award and the Award of the City of Cracow (1997). Her paintings can be seen in the National Museum in Warsaw, Wroclaw, Krakow, Szczecin, among others.
