Polish graphic artist and painter. He studied at the school of art industry in Berlin. After returning to. Poznan he took up artistic activities. He collaborated with the magazine. "Rainbow", and the Warsaw "Sphinx". He was a member of the Artists' Association.
In 1917, he became associated with the community centered around the magazine "Zdrój". In 1925, at the Exhibition of Decorative Art in Paris, he received the Grand Prix for his teaching activities and the works of his students. In 1929 he received a gold medal at the art exhibition of the General National Exhibition in Poznan. In 1936, he received the art prize of the city of Poznan in the field of fine arts. He was one of the co-organizers of the Pństwowa Wyższa Szkoła Sztuk Plastycznych (later the Academy of Fine Arts}, where he became head of the Graphic Arts Department.
