According to Self-portrait of 1820. (made in lithographic technique), 1847
Etching/paper, 18.4 x 13.1 cm, plate 16.5 x 11.1 cm; on the composition, left bottom signature of Alexander Orlovsky in the form of a monogram tied between the letters of the year: 1820; along the lower edge, inscription: NATUS VARSAVIAE AN: 1777 AETATIS 43. SE IPSUM FECIT; below the composition, in the middle, engraving signed: J. F. Piwarski sculp. Vars.1847.
good state of preservation
This engraving was used as an illustration in Edward Rastawiecki's Dictionary of Polish Painters and Foreigners Settled in Poland, vol. II, Warsaw 1851.
