Japanese Monster Movies is a series of worksthat Dziaczkowski based onpostcardJapanese views. In his proper, masterful style, he introduced elements of anxiety and danger into them. There appear monsters and giants straight out of Japanesesci-fi movies, butalso, as in the presented work, scaled-up hugeanimals.
BIO
Collage creator, painter and photographer. Author of illustrations for music, social and cultural magazines, designer of book and album covers. From 2002 to 2007 studied at the Faculty of Painting of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. He co-founded the informal group Pracownia Nuku (2004-2007). He was a scholarship holder of the National Cultural Center - Young Poland (2010) and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (2011), as well as a winner of the Vordemberge-Gildewart Award (2011). In 2007, his debut album Kolaże was published by Korporacja Ha!art. He has participated in many group exhibitions at home and abroad.
