Agenor Goluchowski the Younger was a Polish aristocrat (Count and Second Ordinate of Skala and Knight of Malta). As a conservative politician, he enjoyed the confidence of the Emperor, who entrusted him with the post of Austro-Hungarian foreign minister in 1895. He remained in this position until 1906. In 1907, he became chairman of the Polish group in the upper house of parliament.
