Woodcut on ark. 14.2x9.8 cm. Leaning tenement house, open book in foreground. Composition by Tadeusz Cieślewski's son from 1943, unsigned. Pencil notation on the back. Good condition.
T. Leszner (1895-1967) - lawyer, expert in Polish graphics and book illustration, author of works in this field, creator and owner of a rich library (ca. 10,000 volumes) and collection of ex-libris (ca. 13,000 signs) - the collection was destroyed during WWII.
