Woodcut print on ark. 13.1x7.3 cm. Nobleman leaning on sword, hussar wings and scapular in background. Composition by Antoni Jan Golębniak, 1953, signed with the artist's own mark and handwritten in the lower margin. Exlibris mounted on a black paper backing, which was affixed to a larger sheet. Very good condition.
W. Siedlecki (1911-1998) - Cracow lawyer, member of the Codification Commission, professor at the Jagiellonian University, bibliophile and numismatist, creator of an extensive book collection rich in Polish old prints, rare editions of the Romantics, bibliophilic cimelia.
