Edward Okuń (1872 - 1945), "Prometheus. Ex libris by Stefan Żeromski".

zincograph on paper, 1909, 9 x 9 cm, signed on the plate in the lower right corner with a bound monogram: "EO", in the lower left corner piece number 822 and Stefan Zeromski's own monogram (written in pen).

Okuń was one of the leading illustrators, designing covers, vignettes and initials. Ex libris with a depiction of Prometheus was included in Stefan Zeromski's book "Pride of the Hetman" (third edition, Warsaw 1909).
