Woodcut on paper entitled. "The Bell Tower in Sobotka" designed by Wilhelm Ossecki (Wolf), Poznan 1925, no sig. Dimensions of board 25.7 x 20.1 cm, composition dimensions 12.8 x 9.5 cm. Graphic supplement to: Silva Rerum 1925 z. 5.

Wilhelm "Wilk" Ossecki (22.05.1892 Brody - 29.11.1958 Piastów Powi. Pruszków) graphic artist and painter, also draftsman and pedagogue. Studied in 1910-1918 at the School of Fine Arts (SSP) in Cracow in the painting department under Jozef Pankiewicz (also lessons in graphic arts) and under Wojciech Weiss. In 1920-1934 he lived and worked in Poznan, at that time he also traveled to France for artistic practice, from 1934 he lived in Wilanow, where he was, among other things, custodian of the Branicki collections. Since the interwar period active in secondary art education. Extensive graphic work in numerous graphic techniques (about several hundred engravings, numerous graphic portfolios), in addition to printmaking he also practiced applied graphics.
