Tadeusz Cieślewski son (1895-1944) - graphic designer, critic, art theorist and writer. He studied graphic design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw with Władysław Skoczylas, painting with Tadeusz Pruszkowski and book graphics with Ludwik Gardowski. He was a member of many artistic groups and associations, including:the Association of Graphic Artists "Ryt", the Association of Polish Graphic Artists, the Block of Professional Artists, the Group of Graphic Artists "Black and White". Initially, he practiced various graphic techniques, later focusing on woodcut (about 200 works). He published his own theory of this art discipline: "Woodcut in a book, portfolio and on the wall - remarks on the graphic raciality of woodcut", Warsaw 1936.
