"Flower Thrower" (also known as "Riot/Flower Thrower") is one of Banksy's most recognizable works, created in 2003 on the wall of a building in the West Bank city of Jerusalem. It depicts a masked man in a pose as if he is about to throw an object, but instead of a weapon in his hand he holds a bouquet of flowers. This graphic, despite its simplicity, carries a profound message, combining symbolism of violence with a message of peace and hope.

The figure of the masked man brings to mind protests and riots, but in Banksy's work, instead of a gun, he holds a colorful bouquet of flowers. Through this, the image transforms aggression into an expression of love, peace and hope for a peaceful resolution of conflicts. The flowers, a symbol of peace, contrast with the man's dynamic pose and clothing, which draws attention to the senselessness of violence and the need for change.

Banksy created "Flower Thrower" in an area highly charged with conflict - the wall separating Israel and Palestine. This location gives the work special power, underscoring the artist's message and his call for dialogue and reconciliation in a region that has been struggling with divisions for years. Placing the work in Jerusalem was a conscious choice by Banksy to make viewers reflect on the consequences of aggression and the need to seek peaceful means of expression.

Banksy's works can be seen in, among other places: Bristol Museum & Art Gallery in the UK, Moco Museum in Amsterdam and in Barcelona in permanent exhibitions. The Moco Museum is known for exhibiting contemporary artists and street art. Banksy has held several exhibitions of his own, such as the famous "Barely Legal" in Los Angeles in 2006 and the "Dismaland" exhibition held in 2015 in Weston-super-Mare, which was a dark amusement park created by Banksy that attracted huge public interest. Banksy's works often appear at auctions, organized by auction houses such as Sotheby's and Christie's.
