Bust of Sigismund Augustus facing in profile to the right, with a crown on his head. In the rim around the figure an inscription: SIGISMVNDVS AVGVSTVS REX POLONIÆ. In the outer rim a wreath of braided laurel leaves.

In the central part one can see the crowned Eagle of Poland. Around it a wreath of nine shields with coats of arms of Polish provinces. Above the crown can be seen the letter S on a ribbon, flanked by the shields of the Lithuanian Pogo on the left and the coat of arms of the Sforza family on the right, supported by putti. Surrounding them is a double inscription in the rim: SIGISMVNDVS AVGVSTVS DEI GRATIA REX POLONIÆ MAGNVS DUX LITVANIE / RVSSIÆ PRVSIÆ MASOVIÆ SAMOGITIÆ ET DOMINVS ET HERES. In the outer rim a wreath of intertwined laurel leaves.
