Biography
Painter, printmaker and draughtsman, also works in photography. Studied at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts from 1967-73. In 1982-83 he worked as a pedagogue at the Painting Department of the academy. In the 1970s he was repeatedly awarded in competitions for the best graphics. After December 13, 1981, he took an active part in the independent culture movement in Warsaw. Since 1991, with his wife Teresa Starzec, he has been co-managing the Atelier Foundation in Warsaw, but all the time creating individual projects. He has participated in a number of group exhibitions in Poland and abroad, and has also had numerous individual exhibitions.
