A collection of two engravings relating to Boleslaw the Bold . The first engraving depicts the crossing, the battle of Boleslav II the Shy (Bold) on the banks of the Pasleka River. The second depicts the allegedtomb ofKing Boleslav the Bold (c. 1042-1081 or 1082) in Ossiach, Carinthia. In the title of the second engraving, an error in the caption Boleslaw the Bold was the second, not the third, Polish ruler of that name.
Pieces well preserved, after professional conservation protected entirely with so-called Japanese paper. Only in the upper right corner the first engraving has a cropping over the inscription "Pologne".
