Very good condition. On the cover of the portfolio the title "Album of woodcuts of Cracow". Album issued in the form of postcards. Two-color prints, black and dark pink. Under each woodcut printed "Drzew. oryg.", "J. Kluska" and title of work: Wawel [walls], Wawel [gate], Wawel [tower], Wawel Cloisters, Wawel Church, Wawel Tower, Copernicus Monument, Marjacka Church, Barbican, Florian Gate, St. Adalbert Church and Marjacka Towers, St. Barbara Church,
J. Kluska (1902-1975) - painter, graphic artist, educator, graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. His graphic output includes, among other things, over a dozen woodcut volumes. The subjects of his works are primarily architectural motifs.
