Ludwik Tyrowicz (Lvov 1901-1958 Lodz) - Polish graphic artist, educator, creator of exlibrises. He was the son of Ludwik, sculptor, maker of, among other things, many monuments in Lychakiv Cemetery in Lvov. L. Tyrowicz the younger studied at the School of Fine Arts in Warsaw, and in 1930 returned to Lviv, where he taught at the Institute of Graphic Arts. From 1945 in Lodz, he taught at the State School of Fine Arts and the School of Artistic Printing. He practiced various types of printmaking. He dealt with applied graphics and was the author of several hundred ex-librises. Good condition.
