Dakinis are enlightened beings, female goddesses, bearers of secret teachings, present in various traditions of Buddhism, tantra doctrines and Hinduism. I first learned about the dakini from the book "Tibetan Dreaming and Dreaming Yoga" by Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche. In addition to this, the book describes a practice recommended before bedtime to create a sense of safety and transform the place where we sleep into sacred spaces.

Imagine that you are surrounded by dakinis, in the form of beautiful goddesses, radiating love for you, enlightened female beings. They are with you at all times while you sleep, protecting you.

I wanted to create just such an image - hence the work. Dakini - a beautiful girl with inner strength. I want this work to give the space she is in a feeling of coziness, love and security.

I hand-paint the dakini, and each of them has a unique image. The series is limited.

Alexei Wroblewski was born on May 10, 1983 in the city of Volkovysk, Belarus. His family supported and
developed the artistic abilities of the future sculptor. When Aleksey was three years old, the family moved to the city of
Lida. In 1998, he enrolled in the Mir Artistic Vocational School No. 234 in Mir. After graduating from the school in
2001 and until 2007. Alexei worked as a restorer of the historic part of the city of Minsk. From 2003 to 2004
he studied ceramics at the Belarusian State University of Culture, and in 2005 he entered the Belarusian
State Academy of Fine Arts, specializing in exhibition design. After graduating
he practiced his skills in interior design and stone sculpture. In 2015 2016, he studied
sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. His mentor, Dr. Roman Pietrzak, had a significant influence on Alexei
as an artist and a person. However, in 2016 he moved back to Lida, where he and a group of artists
co-founded the creative center and art gallery "Vegasocialclub." Aleksey decided to stay in Belarus,
developing as an independent artist and contributing to the art scene in Lida and the region. In 2016 2021
Aleksey sculpted in granite and actively participated in the life of "Vegasocialclub", where he exhibited and curated several
art exhibitions. In May 2021. Alexei left Belarus and moved to Poland. In 2022, he became a member of the Union of
Polish Artists' Association. In 2023, he was awarded the Gaude Polonia scholarship, when, under the guidance of his
curator Dr. Roman Pietrzak, he created the sculptural project The Garden, which was presented at an exhibition at the
Academy of Fine Arts in June 2023. Aleksey currently lives and works in Warsaw. His works
are in public collections in Belarus and in private collections in Belarus, Poland, Germany, the Netherlands, France and Italy.
