Began his studies at the Munich Academy (1900-1904), then studied in Paris (1905-1910). He traveled extensively and was in Algiers, Morocco, Egypt, Palestine and in France, Italy, New York, among others. He was a member of ZZPAP in Lodz. He painted landscapes, city views, genre scenes and portraits. Color was most important in his works. His paintings are colorful, vivid, colorful. He died in the Bialystok ghetto.
