Northeastern Italy, ca. mid-18th century.
With straight sides, chamfered front corners, with a settee surmounted by a torn pediment with a very prominent and high crotch, closed by a single straight door leaf with a mirror, with the secreter section closed by a diagonally arranged flap, supported on a commode base with two drawers with wavy faces, placed on six legs, in front on four small balusters, in the back on a pair of hub ones. Entirely veneered, the surfaces decorated with borders and ribbon forming geometric fields with indented corners, filled on the front with patterned veneer. The leaf of the settee's door is framed, wave-shaped closed, with a panel in the form of a mirror imitating its shape. The front of the base imitates the division into three drawers. The interior of the settee is lined with fabric, with one shelf. In the secreter interior, in the middle, a single-wing cabinet framed on the sides by pairs of drawers.
