Oskar Zięta:
Diploma from the Faculty of Construction and Architecture at the Szczecin University of Technology (now the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin), 2000.
Scholarship from the Swiss Institute of Technology ETH in Zurich, 2000 - 2001. Since 2003, research assistant at the Faculty of Architecture, in the CAAD (Computer Aided Architectural Design) department of ETH. In 2011 he received his doctoral degree from this university.
Since 2013, he has been a lecturer in the Department of Design at the SWPS University of Humanities and Social Sciences, School of Form, in Poznan.
Founder and president of Zieta Prozessdesign, 2010.
One of the most prominent and internationally recognized Polish designers. Technologist and inventor, creator of FiDU - an innovative technique for spatial modeling of sheet metal using compressed air or water. He uses it in designing striking furniture and other interior design elements, as well as large-format sculptures, including : NAWA - Daliowa Island, Ostrów Tumski, Wrocław, WIR - Northern Gallery, Warsaw. Plopp stool, 2008, designed by him, is in the permanent collection of the Pompidou Center in Paris as one of twelve chairs that revolutionized contemporary design.
Winner of numerous awards, including: Design Preis Schweiz, 2008; Red Dot Design Award, 2008; Good Design, 2009; Materialica Design Award, 2009; German Design Council Award, 2009; Audi Mentor Prize by A&W, 2011.
