Edyta Baranska, owner of the studio and glass designer, right after studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw under the legend of Polish design Zbigniew Horbowy, has cooperated with the best glassworks in Poland and Norway, creating utility and design forms that combine utility with the artistic character of objects. She has participated in numerous insertions in Poland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Mexico and the USA, which has resulted in the presence of her works almost all over the world, including in the permanent collection of the National Museum in Warsaw.
Among other awards, she has received Good Design, ElleDeco, All on Design, Selected Design 2019 and 2020 awards in Milan for her coffee table collections, and DArc Awards in London 2019 and 2020 for two lamp collections.
Her individual style of combining art and design has gained recognition at prestigious design fairs in Milan, London, Paris, Dubai and New York .
Her most interesting art installations include:
- Sea Flowers installation for the Hilton Hotel in Gdansk - one of the largest fused glass installations in the world, more than 22 thousand elements of handmade glass, 1.5 tons of glass, 9 km of fiber optic cable;
- Wings of Freedom sculpture in honor of President Lech Walesa - 3.5 tons of glass elements, wings with a span of 6.5 m
- all-glass fountain for the Palace of the President of Poland in Warsaw - probably the only one of its kind in the world;
- DragonFly fused glass installation during Hotel Show Dubai 2019
- Autumn Leaves art installation at Downtown Design Dubai 2021
