She enjoys designing, simply put. It gives her a real and not lying pleasure. She escapes the divisions of evaluations of applied and pure art. She wants to be honest with the material and her own perceptions of the world. She respects the viewer, notices him and values his opinion. She is clear about her cultural roots - she is not ashamed of them in spite of the fashion for global visual unification and post-directions. She avoids chance and does not value chaos. She shapes the real world herself, rather than recreates the existing one - resistant to influence, though contemporary, respecting traditions. Unique realizations are surprising in size and grandeur, perhaps sometimes bravura. They are counterbalanced by simple functional forms. Here he fearlessly mixes techniques and materials. "Energetic" - this is how her works are often described - perhaps this is where her intriguing power to convince the viewer lies.
