The body is mostly softwood, partly solid walnut. Simple band inlay of walnut wood and roots. On a moulded base fitted with conical carved feet rests a chest of drawers with two drawers and a slanting tilting writing surface which, when tilted, rests on pull-out supports. Inside, small drawers and storage compartments. The tabernacle at the top has a lockable door, with drawers at the sides. Austria, last quarter of the 18th century, dimensions 91 x 165 x 46 cm. In good original unrestored condition, some loose small parts and fittings are in the drawers. Signs of age and use. Condition 2-
