On the title page the author's handwritten dedication to Leonard Sempoliński (1902-1988 - also an outstanding photographer) - "To Lolk in memory of the battles we fought together for ZPAF". Introductory text by Romuald Klosiewicz. Editorial elaboration by Henryk W. Piekarniak. Photographic reproductions of the author's originals were made by the PSP Photo Studio. Edition of 300 copies. The photograms depict the everyday life of a Jewish town, the stalls of small traders, the atmosphere of courtyards, the silhouettes of children. It is a beautiful picture of customs today that is already unique.
B. J. Dorys, owner of Rotenberg (1901-1990) - prominent Polish photographer. He ran the most popular portrait atelier in Warsaw until the second half of the l. 1980s. Photographer of the "great social world", actors, well-known figures of science, culture and politics. Author of extremely valuable photographs of Kazimierz on the Vistula River (taken in 1931 and 1932), which became an event in the field of documentary photography and is considered the first Polish photographic reportage. Co-founder of ZPAF.
