Portraited people in full figure. On the back a handwritten pencil inscription identifying: "Members of the Bank 'Hausner and Violand' June and July 1861". Photographs mounted on a common board with gilt edges. Very good condition.
"Hausner & Violland " - a family-owned trading and banking house in Brody and Lviv owned by the Hausner family. Alfred Hausner (born January 11, 1822 in Brody, died February 17, 1887 there) - banker and merchant and member of the Galician National Diet and Austrian Council of State. He became a partner in 1847 and, after his father's death, managed the family trading and banking house from 1858.
