Biography
Graduate of the Department of Photography at FAMU in Prague (2001). In 1998 he studied for a semester at the Fine Arts Department at Middlesex University in London. Zielinski's artistic career began in Poland with the exhibition Hometown (Galeria Zderzak, 2001), followed by Hometown. Planespoting (Zderzak Gallery, 2002). In 2002 he participated in the group exhibition The View from Here (Ludwig Museum in Budapest), and in 2003 at the 3rd Biennale of Photography in Poznan. The artistic sources of Zielinski's style exist in both recent Czech photography (Vladimír Birgus) and Polish photography. The author attaches great importance to the painterly composition of his works, which has its origins in American landscape photography of the 1970s.
