Biography
His father managed the Ouest-France warehouse until the arrival of the German occupiers. To be safe, he sends his entire family to the United States to spend the war time there. Even after liberation, Patrick decides to stay in the US permanently. At the age of 17, he begins his career as a reporter for the Washington Post and the New York Times. He was a talented photographer of celebrities and great figures. Many celebrities passed in front of his lens, from Charles De Gaulle, Enrich Von Stroheim to Grace Kelly, Jean Cocteau, Kirk Douglas, Gina Lollobrigida, Anouk Aimee or Marcello Mastroianni. One of his most famous photos is the now iconic 1953 portrait of a half-naked Bardot in Cannes.
