Through a montage of reportage photographs showing portraits of travelers on public transportation in the early morning, Osiecki created an authorial, conceptual commentary on the socio-political situation of the communist period of the late 1970s.

Photojournalist.Co-founderof thetrend of sociological photography of the People's Republic of Poland. Member of ZPAF and the Association ofDocumentaryPhotographers"Droga". At the age of 20 he began working with the Student Photo Agency. In the 1970s and 1980s he photographed for the most popular youth magazines, such as "etc.", "Na Przełaj", "Kurier Polski", "Razem". He documented the first and second visit of Pope John Paul II to Poland and the 1980 strike at the Gdansk Shipyard. He was the author of photographs for a book about Prof. Zbigniew Religa. Photographer of Maria Kaczynska during the presidency of Lech Kaczynski. Two-time winner of the Press Photography Contest, 1st prize at the Sociological Photography Contest (1979) and the Vidical 2005 Special Award for the "Polish Faces" calendar.
