Photograph shows an exterior view of the manor house. On the back, handwritten inscription in pencil: "Manor in Liliatyn, Brzeżany district, property of the Wojciechowski family. Marszałek Śmigły Rydz grew up there. School in Brzeżany. Photo art. St. Zurawski". Good condition.
S. Żurawski (1889-1976) - painter. Studied at the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts in the atelier of Jozef Mehoffer and Wojciech Weiss between 1907-1913. Awarded numerous prizes during his studies. Member of the Artists' Guild "Jednoróg", with which he exhibited constantly between 1925 and 1932. He painted in vivid colors, mainly nudes and half-acts, but also still lifes, landscapes, portraits, figural compositions. The artist's works are clearly inspired by the art of Wojciech Weiss.
